Citywalk Studios Works Miracles for Branson Show Act of God
Branson-based Citywalk Studios has completed production of the CD for the new Christian musical, Act of God. Mark Owen, executive producer of Citywalk Studios and graduate of Berklee College of Music, brings over 20 years of performing, writing and arranging to the table. The live recording which began mid August 2005 was enough to challenge any workaholic with sessions often going as late as 3:00am, says composer and lyricist John Lindsay.
As the title suggests, the show Act of God consists of acting (four Carol Burnett style skits and dramas), but there are also ten original songs in the show which are now available on one CD.
John Lindsay, writer/producer of Act of God, would like to thank the Ozark Christian News and Citywalk Studios for their generosity through the gifts of their valuable time, talent and resources to the Act of God ministry.
"It’s wonderful to see a vision realized", says Lindsay, "but there’s an unexplainable satisfaction when a group of individuals exceeds every expectation. And when something is accomplished that isn't humanly possible in a given timeframe against all odds, the only explanation is the divine intervention of God through Jesus Christ our Lord."
